Back in the Game: My Jumbo Moment
I'm officially back in the workforce, but this time it's different. I'm not returning to the enterprise software world or joining another founding team. The teams have been amazing, and we've enjoyed successful exits, but I didn't have the passion to jump back in this time.
The temptation to do so has certainly been there, and opportunities will always arise. However, a deeper realization emerged when my daughter was accepted to Tufts University – she's now a Jumbo. Reflecting on the exciting change she was embracing, I began to realize the changes that I could implement. I've always aspired to build something enduring; something that would benefit not only my family now but also contribute to a better future for them and others.
This led me to co-found Flannel AI and I am happy to announce we're launching this week. We're developing a data management application that empowers individuals to leverage AI to organize and manage their lives effectively. I've always leveraged technology with a unique approach to managing my personal and family information, and I've translated this concept into a user-friendly tool.
While this is a consumer data solution, we're partnering with builders to offer Flannel as an AI enabled digital home binder that includes every detail about a person's new home. I don't want to confuse you any more than I have already so I'll pause here and in the next blog I will define the personal data management problem we are solving.
This is a challenging undertaking, but one that I'm incredibly passionate about. I'm excited to share this journey with you, documenting the ups and downs of building a company from the ground up. True fulfillment comes from embracing "jumbo-size" challenges. My daughter and I welcome you on the journey.
Stay tuned for more updates as this exciting new chapter unfolds.
